Dr Groovelove are a spectacular party band specialising in soul, funk and pop, available as anything from a 6-piece to a full 11-piece line-up. At full strength, the band features male and female vocals alongside keys, guitar, bass, drums, sax, trumpet, trombone and percussion for a huge live sound.
Their repertoire combines current and contemporary favourites from artists such as Bruno Mars and Beyoncé with funk and soul classics from the likes of Earth, Wind & Fire and James Brown. With exceptional musicianship and an energetic stage show, Dr Groovelove are built for events where filling the dance floor is the priority.
The band brings together some highly experienced UK musicians whose credits include performing with artists such as Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith, Maceo Parker and Chaka Khan. For smaller venues or budgets, Dr Groovelove can scale down to a 6-piece line-up while still delivering the energy and quality of the full band.
